About the project
Raphael Dallaportas Domestic Slavery is a series of photographs of quite anonymous looking buildings in the Paris region. While looking at the photographs, we hear various stories; accounts of incidents that have taken place behind the façade of the ordinary. They are harrowing and disturbing stories from real life. Stories of modern slavery.

About the artist
Raphael Dallaporta (b. 1980 FR) graduated from Les Gobelins in Paris in 2002. He places great importance on investigation and individual testimonies, and works with photography, text and video mixing the conceptual with documentary investigation.
